When & Why...
Our Female Beagles typically retire from our breeding program after having 1 to 4 litters of puppies (around age 2 to 6 years old); depending upon the quality of her puppies (were they good representatives of the breed), if she was a good mother, AND if she enjoyed being a mother. We WILL NOT continue breeding a female who does not enjoy raising puppies! Occasionally, a female Beagle will not be a good candidate for our breeding program for other reasons and she will be retired prior to having a litter. 
Sometimes, we will retire a Male Beagle from our breeding program; if we feel that we have kept as many of their offspring for our program as we wish to keep, and they are no longer needed to continue our breeding program. 
Other Beagles may be available as "Retired Adult Beagles" who were never in our breeding program; if a family is no longer able to keep a Beagle bred by us, then we will find them a loving home. 
 
Reservation Fees:
A Purchase Application, Reservation Contract, and Reservation Fee are required to Reserve a Retired Adult Beagle. 

Visits:
We ONLY allow visits if you are picking up your Beagle, this is for bio-security and the safety of our family (human & canine). We are not a pet store nor a kennel facility, we are a family in a home with our Beagles; we do not offer tours.

Shipping & Third Party Transfers:
Beagles must be picked up in person, by their new owner(s), at our home in Bonneau, South Carolina. We cannot ship or transport our Beagles and we cannot participate in any third party transfers (a friend, employee, or representative, etc picking up for you) as we are hobby breeders. 

Breeding Rights:
We do not offer Breeding Rights, our Retired Adult Beagles (12 months of age and older) are already spayed/neutered by our Veterinarian prior to adoption.
